Artist Statement : I am constantly inspired by the drama and mood of the natural world, especially the skies that seem heavy with time and story. My travels out west, especially through the mountains, revealed a beauty in stormy, shifting atmospheres where light and shadow constantly collide. Through watercolor, I try to capture not just the image, but the feeling of being there – of the sky and earth in conversation — wild, breezy, and alive.
