Mixed media ( acrylic, paint markers)

For this piece, I created a striking figure against a textured purple backdrop, adorned with geometric patterns. I went with a dark complexion which I knew would contrast with the vibrant purple and gold accents, creating a visually compelling image. The figure's expression, accentuated by the prominent eyes, hint at a complex inner world, inviting the viewer to contemplate their story. The use of mixed media, including what appears to be decorative stones on the figure's clothing, adds a tactile dimension to the piece, enhancing its overall impact. The artwork explores themes of identity, beauty, and introspection, rendered with a bold and contemporary aesthetic.
