Found Objects

I am a narrative found object assemblage sculptor. I use artifacts and symbolic objects to convey stories about relationships with family, place, love, faith, nature, self, time, and other themes. This work is from my Relationship with Love Series. It was inspired by recent stories of teen suicides. When family or friends were interviewed, they often said they had no clue that the person was suffering. My hope is to remind each of us that we are not alone. We need to connect and communicate with each other. We need to create supportive communities for each of us. That connection/communication could save a life.
